I hope everyone is having a wonderful Friday, and looking forward to the upcoming holidays next week! I will NOT be traveling, but I will be away from my desk more often next week, through the New Year to spend some much needed time with my family. HUGE Hollywood Studios news… what do you think about this upcoming change? I’m a little bummed about the Muppets Courtyard, but I do think Monsters Inc will go perfect there! Rock n Roller Coaster to the Muppets is SO cute, but I will miss that pre show 😭😭

It's been a WHILE since we've done a client highlight post, so I thought it was about time to bring it back! One of my sweet clients, Annie, visits Walt Disney World almost every year with her family - this year, though, was the first time they got to experience Christmas at the parks.

🎄This year, they decided to drive their RV down, and camp out at Fort Wilderness! With a premium campsite, they were close to the food hall and lobby, and are just a short boat ride away from Magic Kingdom via ferry boat!
🎄They visited all the parks with park hopper tickets, AND got to go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!
🎄The Fort has so many unique activities and offerings that this family was able to take advantage of. If you are a nature lover or enjoy camping, definitely look into giving Fort Wilderness a try! With Deluxe Cabins or RVs and Campers, there really is something for everyone. You can rent golf carts, go horseback riding, hang out with your favorite pals at Mickey's Backyard BBQ, and so much more!

Thank you to Annie and her precious family for once again trusting me with her family's trip this year - I can't wait for the next one!

✨EPIC UNIVERSE DETAILS✨

OPENING DATE
- Universal Orlando's Epic Universe will open it's gates on May 22nd, 2025. Ticket purchases and package purchases (including Helios, the brand new on-site hotel) will open on October 22nd, which is NEXT WEEK !!!!

NO STAND ALONE TICKETS
- Guests will NOT be able to purchase individual tickets for Epic Universe upon opening in 2025.

TICKET PACKAGE REQUIRED
- Guests will be required to purchase their ticket for Epic Universe as a Ticket Package.

TICKET PACKAGES COME IN 5,4, & 3 DAY
- Guests can purchase multi-day ticket packages to the
3 Universal Orlando parks PLUS ONE day at Epic Universe.

LIMIT OF 1 DAY AT EPIC UNIVERSE
-Within the Multi-day ticket package, guests will only be able to utilize ONE day to visit Epic Universe.

SINGLE PARK OR PARK TO PARK AVAILABLE
- Park to Park availability will ONLY be available for Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, or Volcano Bay depending on the type of Park to Park ticket purchased. Guests will NOT be able to “hop” to Epic Universe.

A brand new service, Disney's Lightning Lane Premier Pass (LLPP) has just been announced this morning! It's available for Deluxe Resort guests to purchase at Walt Disney World, beginning on October 30th. At Disneyland, the LLPP is available for purchase for ALL guests, beginning October 23rd.

🚨October 8: Hurricane Milton - Walt Disney World Update

“We continue to closely monitor the path of Hurricane Milton. Based on the latest projection, we are making additional operational adjustments for the safety of our Guests and Cast Members beginning tomorrow, Oct. 9.

The Walt Disney World Emergency Operations Center is connected to weather experts and community leaders. Please know these adjustments have been made in order to leave plenty of time for our Guests and Cast Members to return to their Resort hotels or homes safely hours before higher winds are expected to reach Central Florida.

Operational Impacts Include:

🌀Walt Disney World Theme Parks
On Oct. 9, our theme parks and Disney Springs will be closed in phases beginning at 1 p.m.
-Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will close at 1 p.m.
-Magic Kingdom, EPCOT and Disney Springs will close at 2 p.m.

🛍️It is likely the theme parks will remain closed on Thursday, Oct. 10. We will consider opening Disney Springs Thursday late afternoon with limited offerings.

🎃This includes the cancellation of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom on Oct. 10. Event tickets will be refunded.

🧳Disney Resort Hotel Closures

⛺️Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and the Treehouse Villas at
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will temporarily close beginning at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9. They are likely to remain closed until Sunday, Oct. 13.
Transportation

🚌Walt Disney World Transportation will stop operating Wednesday, Oct. 9 after Disney Springs and the Walt Disney World theme parks close. Limited Minnie Van and Mears taxi service will be available to Walt Disney World Resort Guests.
Recreation

⛳️Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, Winter Summerland Miniature Golf and Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf will be closed on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Disney’s Blizzard Beach remains closed for planned refurbishment.
