Anyone who has been a pastor for longer than a week has experienced the new believer who comes into the house, who is excited to give generously, but then because of those offerings, expects to have immediate influence in the church. This spirit of entitlement has no place in the covenant relationship between priest and king. Remember: God is your source! 🙏

Sustainable generosity is a way of doing things that permeates a church body. It’s not an event, and not necessarily need-driven. It’s generosity expressed throughout your congregation as a steady flow of giving, not compelled or coerced by the manipulation of a charismatic pastor, but simply out of a pure heart of compassion and thankfulness.

This culture cannot be achieved without the establishment of covenant partnerships between pastors and business leaders. 🙏

As a marketplace or church ministry leader, the best witness you can offer the world is to operate with a spirit of excellence.

You are not helping His Cause if you are flaky, unorganized, poor stewards of personal or corporate income, always looking for the shortcut, and not holding true to your words or commitments. What does it say about our awesome Lord if we claim to be Christians but operate business-as-usual in a second-rate way?

Let’s run our businesses with such excellence and integrity that the world around us cannot help but stop and take notice. When we are honest in our dealings, excellent in our pursuits, and accountable to what we have been blessed to steward, we will automatically become representatives of our excellent Savior and God. 🙏

🕰️ Trusting God’s Timing 🕰️

Proverbs 28:20 reminds us that rushing to accomplish even God-ordained plans can lead to frustration and exhaustion. God’s timing is perfect, but it often requires more patience than we’re comfortable with.

Stay the course and trust His timeline. When we align our actions with His grace, the results are transformative and blessings flow abundantly. Don’t rush the process; trust in God’s perfect timing for your life and work. 🙏

Remember, true generosity starts after the tithe. Give 10% to your church home, then go above and beyond.

True transformation begins when we live transparently—being real with God, ourselves, and others. Whether in our marriages, our parenting, or our work, transparency is key to building trust and leaving a lasting legacy.

This week, challenge yourself to notice those moments when you feel the need to hide. Instead, ask God for the strength to be real and to live as an offering before Him.

Lee Domingue is an entrepreneur, international speaker, pastor and author of Pearls Of The King, KB GAMEPLAN, and The Family Meeting Guide. His passion for the local church to be the hope of the world drives him to help thousands of pastors and marketplace leaders understand just how vital they are to each other. Only by effectively developing a intentional relationship will they reach the potential of their God-given destinies. Through his ministry, Kingdom Builders U.S., and serving as Legacy Pastor at Church of the Highlands in Birmingham, Alabama, Lee brings inspiration and practical strategies for pastors and marketplace leaders to understand the significant eternal return on investment or what he calls “e-ROI®” that their relationship creates to build the Kingdom of God.

Lee draws his messages from decades of success in business in the financial technology, healthcare, and energy sectors as well as being dedicated study of God’s Word, and committed service to his local church. In 1997, He founded AppOne, a financial technology company that was later acquired in 2007 by Wolters Kluwer, a multi-billion dollar global information and compliance services company. After the acquisition, Lee worked as CEO – Indirect Lending until retiring in 2011 to focus his passion on Kingdom Builders U.S. and Trafficking Hope, the anti-human trafficking campaign he and his wife founded in 2007. Lee was co-Executive Producer of anti-trafficking motion picture, CAGED NO MORE, which released in 2015. In 2018, Lee founded m360, the first missions management solution for local churches and mission/outreach organizations that gives underwriting tools, accountability, transparency with real time reporting of outcomes.
