It has been my dream for nearly 25 years to build a cottage in our pasture for a rental property, but to also have retreats for abused women. I want to help other women heal from their abuse, and to m

ove forward with their lives, being empowered and to make a better life for themselves and their families. My husband Rhett is a custom home builder in this area and together we designed the cottage, and with his knowledge and expertise, it has finally become a reality. This little cottage is set in a beautiful 16 acre pasture with lots of wildlife around, and has a lovely mountain stream flowing by it. It’s a great place to come and reenergize and heal. A lovely place for families and couples to get away from the hectic life they lead and just relax. We are so grateful to have this cottage and for all the wonderful people who will be coming to stay in it. May they all be blessed!

The roses are all in bloom at the Bluebird Cottage this week, and it is just gorgeous! I know our guests are enjoying them every day and I’m so grateful for this magical place.💚💕💚

This past weekend we had a couple renew their 10 year wedding vows, with a lovely Celtic ceremony in the pasture. It was beautiful! 💙The Gurley family.

We are taking extra measures to make sure that it is sanitized to the max, so that everyone is safe from the virus when they is visit us. Freshly mulched and ready for our guests this week. They've been playing corn hole toss and letting their little ones run around the pasture. This is a great place for a family to get away for a while and spend quality time together.

AN INSPIRATION FOR TODAY:~
TUESDAY, FEB. 18, 2020
February is a slow month at our cottage so I am being led to do retreats for a 3-4 women at a time. This will be a retreat for any kind of abuse. Physical, sexual, mental, or emotional. Every women has a story and that story needs to be told. With telling our stories, we release the pain of the emotions that we have suffered and still hold deep within ourselves. That little girl is always present within us and needs to be heard, validated and healed. All women are the central core of their home, and if she is not well emotionally, then her family is not as healthy as it should be. Many have suffered in silence most of their lives. Now is the time to release it. Abuse of any kind affects every area of our lives and every relationship. Happiness comes from being healed, so I invite you and any woman that you might know, that needs healing from any kind of abuse. Please PM me and we will set up a time for our retreat, while the cottage is still empty. You'll be happy you took the first step. I care about you and want you to be healed, as I have been healed, and go forth and have a blessed life. Let's heal that inner child now and forever.
