It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the matriarch of our family, affectionately known as Granny Gladys to everyone. She entered the gates of her eternal home on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 10:22 pm. She was the mother of Johnny, Tim, Daniel, and Myra, and a grandmother to nearly 70 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and great-great-great-grandchildren. Throughout her remarkable 92 years, Granny Gladys was a beloved figure to everyone she met. We will receive friends on Saturday, January 18, from 1-2 pm, followed by a celebration of life at Smyrna Baptist Church, 1613 McGill Hwy. A private burial will be held at a later date. Please pray for our family as we navigate this difficult time without her guidance. Johnny and Tim can be reached at Burnt Mil , as can other family members at their home Daniel Sr could use visitors at Brookeveiw House in the Ivy Grove section.if anyone would like to share a photo they may have please dm as we can use in slide show-The Martin-Walker family

Let’s bring some Christmas magic to these children some still living in tents and campers !!!!We need Help to provide Christmas to the children of Black Mountain. Items we still need:
Legos, Footballs, Baseball items, Basketballs, soccer balls, Blocks, Trucks, Puzzels, Art supplies, Craft Supplies , Jewery making kits, barbie dolls, Polly Pockets. PLEASE SHARE we have a drop box in bar !Yall all know I love to shop so donating greatly accepted

Our ninth trunk or treat spectacular was a howling good time, all thanks to the candy providers, trunk decorators with flair, the Antioch Fire Department's truck-tastic display, and the parents who brought their tiny terrors to join the fun. Looking forward to next year
