With heavy hearts we are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved groundskeeper, Johnny’s right hand man and the ice cream giver to all of the children, Roy McKinney at 2:22am 2/18/2025 due to a ruptured liver.. Prayers for our Creek family would be greatly appreciated as we mourn. We will update with arrangements when we can.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the matriarch of our family, affectionately known as Granny Gladys to everyone. She entered the gates of her eternal home on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 10:22 pm. She was the mother of Johnny, Tim, Daniel, and Myra, and a grandmother to nearly 70 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and great-great-great-grandchildren. Throughout her remarkable 92 years, Granny Gladys was a beloved figure to everyone she met. We will receive friends on Saturday, January 18, from 1-2 pm, followed by a celebration of life at Smyrna Baptist Church, 1613 McGill Hwy. A private burial will be held at a later date. Please pray for our family as we navigate this difficult time without her guidance. Johnny and Tim can be reached at Burnt Mil , as can other family members at their home Daniel Sr could use visitors at Brookeveiw House in the Ivy Grove section.if anyone would like to share a photo they may have please dm as we can use in slide show-The Martin-Walker family
