We checked off viewing the mouth of a volcano up close in Costa Rica. Check out Poás Volcano located in the cloud forest of Alajuela.

This volcano has reached an elevation of 8,848ft and STILL remains one of the largest and most active volcanoes in the world. This acidic lake photographed below ranges between 66-158 degrees Fahrenheit!😮🔥

Such a beautiful sight to see in person on a perfect day of blue skies and lush mountain tops.
