In preparation for Hurricane Irma, airports across Florida will begin closing as early as Sep. 8, with operations at most ceasing until at least Monday, Sep. 11.. Received this from United and Jet Blue. If you are in Florida and cannot get out by tomorrow. Tuesday/Wednesday would probably be the earliest. Be Safe..

Important information to know: One should always check passports for validity when traveling. internationally. Most countries (not all of as yet) require that your passport should be valid for at least six months beyond your departure date. Don't take a chance on country requirements, just renew your passport at about one year left of expiry. I know of passengers (not my clients) being denied entry to a country and sent back to the originating departure point because they did not know this.
