Thus ends our 2024 Parade Season. Many thanks to Harold Lawson for his engineering on our Hometown Christmas entry which was battery-and solar-powered. Fun fact: the basis for our "snowbanks" was recycled issues of the Tri-County Shopper & The Bloomfield Democrat. 😎

Yes, we have gifts and stocking stuffers for the men in your lives...the golfers, the hunters, the guys who should have a first aid kit in the shop or the tractor, the man who loves his pup and his coffee, the guys who need an Iowa-USA keychain for their new wheels, the guys who need a very cool desk ornament, or pen, or letter opener, and more! Stop by and shop, M-Friday 10 - 4 and Saturdays 10 - 1. No lines, no crowds, and we pay the sales tax. Sweet.

The Davis County 4-H Youth Council will be offering a FREE Holiday wrapping event for Christmas.
Drop your gifts off at the Davis County Extension Office by December 12th and the Youth Council will be wrapping them on the 13th!
Pick up your wrapped gifts on the week of the 16th!

Lots of fun options in Davis County today, including the Giant Pumpkin Smash at the Fairgrounds, Fall Farm Fun Days at The Red Shed, apple-picking at Apple Blossom Farms, the Farmers' Market featuring the last mini market of the season on the Square, and more! Great ways to celebrate the first full weekend of Fall!

Tomorrow night, serving from 5 p.m. until supplies run out...free-will donation.

Today, we welcome a bus tour from Pella coming to visit Davis County. If you see us out and about, don't forget to wave!

FYI: You might not see the Open flag out until Friday when the new one arrives. Current flag is too tired to fly. In the meantime, our OPEN signs in the south and east windows are fully operational.
