Winters explores the tensions between our rational understandings of the world and its ineffable nature. He imbues his art with philosophical, scientific, and spiritual meanings that extend it beyond pure abstract form.

📣 We have an exciting announcement about our upcoming exhibition with Clarissa M Bonet!

✨On the eve of our upcoming Opening Reception, a gaggle of Chicago’s best improvisers will create characters, comedy, and narrative inspired by Clarissa Bonet’s ‘Chasing Light.’✨

📸 Bonet is a Chicago based photographer who uses urban streets and buildings as a backdrop to construct the little dramas of daily life in the city. During the show, she will be in cahoots with visiting improvisers who will draw inspiration from her stories and photographs as the catalyst for silly scenes, earnest moments, and ridiculous scenarios.😅

🖼️ Her photographs have been exhibited / published at the Wall Street Journal, Harpers Bizarre, the Aperture Foundation and the Smithsonian Portrait Gallery. ‘Chasing Light’ will be on view at Pictura Gallery from September 6 - October 25th.
