Ready for guests! We are excited to share all the recent upgrades we have done! Updated kitchen with new sink, faucet, stove and range hood. All new cookware as well! Work weekend update. Water has been restored to the cabins - yay! We are in the final stretch of upgrades to the cabin. New kitchen sink, faucet and range hood have been installed. Modern stainless steel range to come. In addition to the gas bbq, we have added a Traeger wood pellet grill to the deck. Please bring your favorite pellets if you wish to use it! Soon the railings and dog gates will be in place to enhance the safety of all.

New entry ramp completed. We are still waiting on water service getting restored so we can welcome guests once more.

Restoring to normalcy has slowly begun with electricity restored. However, fire damage to community well means no water for a while. Cell service and internet may take even longer to return. Good news is that during this down time we are starting to work on upgrades we have been plannning. New railings on the deck are being installed and a whole new wider front ramp with hand rails and lighting will come next!

We were able to make it to McKenzie Riverside Cottages yesterday to evaluate the conditions after the evacuation zone was downgraded to level 2. We were relieved to see virtually no damage to most of the cabins. Very concerned how close we came to loss.

We have posted most of these photos so the other cabin owners in our association can see the condition of their cabins. We were fortunate to be able to take a quick trip to assess conditions as soon as the evacuation level was lowered. All are individually owned and reflect the owners taste and personality. Most of these cabins are typically available to rent via mckenzieriversidecottages.com and a couple are rented via harbickscountryinn.com.

Excited to get projects started on our newly acquired vacation rental cabin on the McKenzie River!. Scrubbed the deck to be refinished soon. Adding new touches each visit to enhance guest experience!
