I can’t think of any tarpon fishing all year easier than that.

I found something else developing but was finally run off by high winds associated with a string avd distant storm line.

Crabs, shrimp, fish etc/ I catch myself when I can.

For decades I lived virtually off the land and sea to feed myself at least 4 days a week. A bit less today with not enough room to put everything but ninthekess- nothing goes to waste. M

Possibility my client today may go again tomorrow but it’s not set in stone yet.

Today- the easiest tarpon fishing of the year was had-all sight casting in a light spin rod.

For now- Friday is open- ( first come first serve ). I’m fueled, rigged a d baited- weather will be ideal again.

The moon is dark- tides are big. There will be increased by traffic throughout the week and the weekend due to the holiday. the fishing pressure on of itself iwill be at minimum.

Pretty much everything is biting.

First light.

The next 4 week will likely see the best tarpon fishing if the year- particularly around the major moon phases.

The permit will come into the shallowest wrecks. That’s a perfect time to attempt the coveted sea monsters - Goliath grouper.

No crowds. Happy fish.

I’m watching what looks a tropical low coming into the Caribbean -a long ways away and uncertain what that will mean for us. Go now - we’ e hit plenty of fish .
