For many guests, the Candlelight Processional is a must-do tradition each year. The beloved show tells the story of Christmas through a stunning performance, featuring a celebrity narrator, a mass choir of Disney cast members and young singers from the community, a 50-piece orchestra, herald trumpets, and the incredible Voices of Liberty. Showtimes this year have adjusted to 5:00 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 8:15 p.m.

Animal Kingdom has some new treats coming this holiday season!! 🎄

Over the last few years, you may have seen Kris Kringle waving to guests as he sailed around the waterways of Disney’s Animal Kingdom during the holiday cavalcades. This year, you can meet Santa Claus at the 75th Annual Dino Institute Holiday Party on the patio at Restaurantosaurus. As the guest of honor himself, Santa’s checked his list twice and invited everyone to join him in this festive new location as the students and faculty of the Dino Institute celebrate the season in (pre)-historic fashion from November 12-December 24. Bring the whole family, because a Santa sighting is perfect for the little ones!

And after you visit Santa, be sure to go to Discovery Island to check out the Merry Menagerie puppets, meet Mickey and Minnie, dressed in their festive finest together at Adventurers Outpost, and stay after dark for sensational, seasonal Tree of Life Awakenings that bring the spirits of winter animals to life!

Special Update: Hurricane Milton

Due to Hurricane Milton, Universal Orlando Resort is making the following operational changes for Wednesday, Oct. 9 and Thursday, Oct. 10.

• On Wednesday, Oct. 9, Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure & Universal CityWalk will be open until 2 p.m. and will be closed on Thursday, Oct. 10. *Note: Hours of operation are subject to change based on forecast alterations and some attraction and experience availability may be limited on Wednesday as we prepare for an early closure.
• Universal Volcano Bay will be closed Wednesday, Oct. 9 and Thursday, Oct. 10.
• Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida is canceled for Wednesday, Oct. 9 and Thursday, Oct. 10.
• Our hotels remain operational as they focus on taking care of our guests.

We anticipate a full reopening of our destination, including Halloween Horror Nights, on Friday, Oct. 11 at our normal operating hours pending the outcome of storm impacts.

The theme parks & Disney Springs are both closing in preparation for the storm.

Tomorrow, Wednesday October 9-Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will close at 1 p.m.

Magic Kingdom, EPCOT and Disney Springs will close at 2 p.m.
It is likely the theme parks will remain closed on Thursday, Oct. 10.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom is cancelled on❌ Oct. 10. Event tickets will be refunded.
