Idaho Mountain Guides specializes in teaching rock climbing programs to help climbers succeed at their goals. We work to ensure that after our courses you are able to climb safely on your own. Whether we are teaching at the City of Rocks, the Black Cliffs of Boise, Mount Adams or Aconcagua, we believe you should develop the skills necessary to climb and mountaineer as a lifelong pursuit. ding, owner, has been teaching and guiding rock climbing and mountaineering in Idaho and the western United States since 1995. He is the former Outdoor Program director at Boise State University. Additionally, Mat has guided all over the United States most notably 5 trips guiding and climbing on Denali in Alaska.

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Idaho Mountain Guides for a 2-day Gym to Crag course on July 26th and 27th!🎉🙌

Day 1: Students will meet at the Commons from 6-8pm for an introduction to climbing outside—we’ll be talking about etiquette, lead climbing and belaying outside, building anchors, cleaning, and rappelling.

Day 2: Break in your new skills during a guided climb day at the Black Cliffs with one of the experienced Idaho Mountain Guides from 8am-12pm! ☀️🧗🏿‍♀️

💸Cost is $150 per person
