Have you ever wondered what the ROSE Awards are and why you should nominate someone?
Visit Boise has always believed in recognizing exceptional service. That’s why we created the Recognition of Service Excellence (“ROSE”) Award Celebration 8 years ago. The ROSE Awards honor exceptional employees in the tourism and hospitality industry who enhance the visitor experience. The awards cover several categories and are presented to employees who provide exemplary service.
Who is eligible?
Non-managerial employees (with exception of Manager of the Year and Spirit of Hospitality nominations) in the hotel, restaurant, bar, retail, transportation, attractions, event/meeting planning, tourism or hospitality-related fields, including the public sector are eligible to be nominated for a ROSE Award. There will be a Manager of the Year and an overall Spirit of Hospitality Award that managers or owners may be eligible for. Employees should have direct contact with, or provide support to, visitors and customers, and distinguish themselves by promoting Boise and surrounding areas through exemplary service and customer satisfaction.
We encourage you to nominate one of these great individuals that are making a difference in the Boise area. The deadline to nominate is next Friday, March 8th! Keep your eyes open for public voting which will open after our panel of expert judges narrows the pool down to 3 finalists in each category.
Thank you to our presenting sponsor, @intermountain_gas!

I’ve seen everything from Hamilton to Ballet Idaho to a free community play at the Morrison Center and it never disappoints.

Whenever you embark on an adventure in the Gem State, it’s important to #TravelWithCare by taking care of yourself, each other and the great Idaho outdoors.
Here are some helpful tips:
🌲 Outdoor spaces belong to everyone. Whether you encounter another person or wildlife on the trail, be respectful of their space.
🌲 Keep Idaho’s outdoor spaces clean and enjoyable. Always pack out what you pack in and leave the area better than how you found it.
🌲 Do your part to keep Idaho friendly. As our service industry sees an increase in business, be patient and kind with staff.
🌲 Please be sure to plan before you go, research the area you’re visiting, and know your surroundings.
🌲 Caring for Idaho starts with caring for ourselves and others. When shopping for supplies for your trip, please consider shopping at local businesses whenever possible.
