The glow is caused by bioluminescence. According to Texas A&M at Galveston, it can be seen this time of year if the conditions are just right.

Why would you go to the coast when it’s not really summer weather yet?? Well fun bioluminescence experiences that happen usually only a few days in the spring is worth the trip in my book.

Seriously October is the best weather! Beautiful light cool breeze warm sun. Such a perfect mix. It’s quiet it’s peaceful. Don’t wanna go home. Still a few days available in October. Most underrated Texas beach month. Ugh if only the kids didn’t have school. I’d stay here the whole month.
