Our Georgia Springtime Tour Day 3 is complete. We are back home safe and sound. We had such a great time with this amazing group of travelers. Today we left our hotel and headed straight to the Biblical History Center in LaGrange, GA.. First, we had a very educational and informative tour of the multiple staged areas depicting life in bible times. Our guide, Ladonna, was amazing. Then we toured the Biblical Antiquities that are on display. Many of them are on loan from the nation of Israel. Then we shared a traditional biblical times meal together while we were taught about all 15 elements that made up the 4-course meal. Then we loaded the bus and headed for home. We made a couple of rest stops along the way, the first being at Culver's in Phoenix City, AL for some custard. So many wonderful memories were made that will be cherished for a lifetime.

Well Day 2 of our Georgia Springtime Tour is in the books. The Lord rearranged the weather forecast to make sure we had a perfect day. We started out with devotions and singing on the bus on our way to Roosevelt’s Little White House. While there we saw so many great historic things and learned so much about F.D.R. and his contribution to our great country. Then it was on to the Bulloch House in Warm Springs for an amazing southern buffet lunch including fried green tomatoes and banana pudding. After some shopping time, we traveled to the magnificent Hills and Dales Estates for a guided tour of the home and gardens. After a short rest at the hotel we had another great southern dinner at Good ‘Ol Buffet in LaGrange. Back at the hotel now as we all settle in for some well deserved rest before we spend our last day in Georgia for now.

Day 1 of our Georgia Springtime Tour was great! The Lord let the rain cooperate and we were able to see some beautiful sights and share some great food & fellowship. Lunch at Eddie Mae Gunn’s and then Callaway Gardens followed by dinner at Country’s BBQ. Ready for a great Day 2!

Well we made it home safe and sound this afternoon in spite of all the rain. We stopped at Buc-ee’s again. They got me a birthday muffin. So sweet. We decorated our Christmas tree all week with something from each stop but it could not be bought. Such creative folks. They are all tired. We had a wonderful week with some amazing people. We look forward to having them travel with us again soon. Thank you to Ronnie Bradley for being a great driver and taking good care of us! Our traveler for the day was Sherri Rocher.

What a great day #4 we have had. We started with a tour of the Ryman Auditorium, then lunch at the Assembly Hall, then a Soul of Music tour on the Old Town Trolley with our friend Bert with an “E”. We finished off the night with dinner at Paula Deen’s and The Grand Ole Opry! Our traveler for the day was Dennis Stewart. Everyone is doing great. Resting now for our trip home tomorrow! Florida here we come !

Well day three has come and gone but what a busy day it was. We visited the creation museum, then headed back to Nashville where we ate at Golden Corral, then we walked through the Ga***rd Opryland Hotel to see all the lights. So pretty. Today’s traveler for the day was Patrick Rosser. Now settled in our rooms for a nice rest before a super fun day tomorrow. Stay tuned for updates!

We have had a great second day of touring. We visited the Ark encounter, visited the zoo, ride a carousel for the first time in a long time, watched a goat do tricks, ate dinner at Ford’s Garage (such a neat place and good food), then had bundtinis ( baby Bundt cakes) from Nothing Bundt cakes for dessert! Our traveler for the day was Carol Brown! We will see you tomorrow!

Yesterday was a great travel day as we head to the Ark encounter. Plenty of stops along the way and great fellowship! This is another great group of travelers!
