I'm remodeling this very non-tiki bar into a new tiki bar for Mid-Century Mountain. Why replace the other one? Because this particular bar, the top comes off and has roulette, craps, blackjack and poker underneath! The first part was carving a sign for the front. Next, I'll be making a horizontal carving for the top center.

Carved this mermaid for the tiki room. First, I drew on the wood, then carved it with a router, painted into the carved inset, then sanded, burned, scraped and aged with a hammer. What should I make next?

How's this for a coffee station? This 1954 Motorola television has a really important repurpose, to make you a delicious cup of Joe! We're still brainstorming on what to have printed on the white of the tv screen. Any ideas?

This is the Olive Green room. I should be going live within the next couple of days. Just waiting on a couple more items to arrive and the hot tub should be wired up on Monday. Then the bookings can commence!

Mid-Century Modern Vacation Rental Walk-through

Now that the painters are done, I thought I'd give you a quick walk-through of the property so you can see the layout. Please excuse the lack of wood flooring in three of the four bedrooms (that's next) and the fact that I called a table "Heywood Westfield" instead of "Heywood Wakefield". That faux pas is inexcusable! 😀
