"On World Cancer Day I am thinking of my mother Carole Ward who died of breast cancer in 1981 aged 41, when I was 12. Of course this impacted me in countless ways, but one of those was to give me an increased focus on women's health and regular cancer screenings. Thankfully, this lead to the early detection of my own breast cancer in 2012, for which I was successfully treated. I know others on the Bond and Des Voeux team have had cancer impact them in a personal way as well. We want to keep the awareness front and centre and remind people, especially today on World Cancer Day to get your recommended screenings."

Q: What is something I should know before reserving a parking permit for my Boston move?
A: You can apply online for a permit if your move date is at least two weeks away but no more than four weeks away. It's also important to note that a standard moving permit only reserves two parking spaces for one day.
