The Trinacriafishing crew went out to dinner last night to celebrate our Blow-out Summer Season. First stop was Santarpios for Boston's Best Pizza & Barbecue! (I don't care if you agree). Then to Cafe Vittoria for Coffee and Desert. We wrapped up with a season recap in the Captain's lounge at Trinacria's summer home Boston Yacht Haven. We discussed our successful Summer season, tweaks we intend to make to our Boston Program next season and our upcoming winter charter season in Florida. Captains gift to the fishing crew was a custom Trinacria ring. Aarron was sick and couldn't make it so we conferenced him in & Relief Capt Brad needed to skip out before the pics. We will be opening our booking platform in late January for both next summer's Boston season & this Winter's Florida season. Team Trinacria wrapped up it's season on Sunday. Trinacria's Yamahas racked up over 600 hours & she covered close to 5,000 miles fishing and Cruising inshore and offshore this season. Her Great crew and vendors deserve alot of credit for a very busy and successful season. The Trinacria crew will be fishing southeast Florida late winter & early spring... stay tuned for details. The Trinacria had 3 trips last week. 2 midshore Fish/Cruise trips, & One offshore Fishing Trip. Sea Conditions made Fishing a challenge and Captain & Crew had to grind to find fish in protected waters. We managed a few Po***ck, Cunner and Catch & Release Cod on our midshore outings. Our offshore trip went bust when we encountered unforcasted 5 to 7 foot seas and 25 to 30 Mph winds about 5 miles east of the 180 line. We turned it around and moved inside and set up on humps off of Bakers Island where there was a decent showing of Bait. After making bait we sent out a far floater. Eventually went tight, most likely a shark due to the clean cut of our 150lb flouro leader. We will be watching the weather to plan the next two weeks. www.trinacria.life

Trinacria had a nice Mid-Shore trip yesterday taking advantage of a decrease in Wind. We had good Catches of medium size Po***ck, Cunner and a few Big Inshore, Catch and Release Cod. All on Light Tackle. It is nice to see the large cod have moved back in around the Harbor Islands. The one pictured was hooked on one of our custom rigs tipped with a Clam Neck, just 200 feet away from Boston Light in only 40 Feet of water. Trinacria will be fishing the December Tuna Quota opening on Sunday & Monday. We will be back on Charters the following week for most likely our last week fishing in the Northeast for this season. www.trinacria.life

Cunnerpalooza...... Trinacria put on it's winter coat and had a fishy trip this weekend. We visited our favorite sunken boat and due to a lumpy report offshore we headed out to the midshore ledges. Solid bite of catch & release Cod in the 5 to 10 lb range, Pollack and Whiting were abundant along with a good haul of eater size Cunner. We will continue to offer trips as long as the weather holds up through early December.

Another great charter trip with these fine english chaps, visiting Boston on a business trip.. They chose a Lighthouse cruise with fishing. Judah and I put them on some nice size catch & release Cod using light tackle. Along with good size Cunner, Whiting and Pollack...Great trip! Fishing in Broad Sound, the Outer Harbor & Mid-Shore remains strong! We will continue offering trips aboard the Trinacria on Good weather days through early December.

Trinacriafishing had a fun trip with some novice anglers earlier this week. They wanted a catch n cook trip. We decided on a Mid Shore trip & got into some nice eating size Cunners (Tautogolabrus adspersus). They brought them to their favorite restaurant and had them cooked into some tasty dishes. We also picked up some decent Pollack and a few catch n release Cod. We will continue offering trips on good weather days through November. www.trinacria.life

Trinacriafishing had a busy week with 5 offshore and midshore trips last week. Fishing has been solid with good Shark & Tuna action, Haddock, Cod, Pollack & Cusk in decent numbers. We had a visitor from the South (blue runner) & acres of Porpoises from the 180 line to Stellwagen on 2 trips. Good to see juvenile sea bass in numbers on rock piles in and around the B & BG. Extra Large Cunner (Tautogolabrus Adspersus) have been plentiful on rock piles inside the B. They are one of my favorite eating fish. We will be wraping up great late season lobstering this week and will continue offshore and midshore fishing trips on good weather days through November. www.trinacria.life
