The venerable Connah Store has shut. Frank DePasquale's ice cream and coffee shop, Dolce, is expanding into the space from next door. Sources tell us that the Connah Store's lease was not renewed after the property owner sought to hike the rent by nearly 250%.

Yesterday was my last tour of 2023 and what a year it has been. I met so many amazing people from all over the United States and world and got to share a very special place and experience with them. I am excited to start my 13th season of tours in 2024. Thank you all for the incredible support. Just yesterday I had a lovely family attend their 3rd tour with me, besides a family that brought their children and parents on my tour for the second time. I feel like I have developed an extended family over the years. Wishing everyone a very happy and healthy New Year!!! See you in the neighborhood!!

Today is the 10 year anniversary of starting my tour! I’ve met thousands of people from all over the country and world, and have had the best time sharing the history, food, and culture, of a very special neighborhood. I never would have imagined 10 years ago, that this idea would grow to being a dream job: I won’t ever claim to be saving the world, but I do get to make people happy and hopefully create lasting memories. Thank you all for the love and support, and hope to see you on the trail soon! Here’s to another 10 years!

I’m so excited to be back on the trail! Tours are back in full swing! After a year of Pandemia and the arrival of my 3rd baby in September, it’s absolutely wonderful to be back in action. I’m always striving to offer the best experience of the North End as possible, so I’ve added new stops and more regions of Italy to explore!!
