The compliant second eardrum design protects ears from dangerous high pressures on the eardrum that occur with currently available products. ich is inserted into the ear canal and inflated to fit. This produces a comfortable, one size fits all, seal with minimum occlusion effect for the coupling of an audio device (hearing aid, digital music player, cell phone, communications headset) to the ear. Inflation is achieved with pressure generated by a revolutionary pumping system that harvests sound pressure from the audio (music, voice, ambient sound) being played, without distorting the audio. In the ear, the ADEL™ bubble acts as a resonant chamber, producing extraordinarily rich sound, which seems to the listener to be originating inside his or her own head rather than being projected in from outside. By dampening the high pressures and turbulences created by the vibrations of the speaker, the ADEL™ bubble also protects the delicate ear drum from potential damage.

Asius Technologies, LLC is Proud to support AC/DC with the Ambrose Diaphonic Ear Lens (ADEL)

"To enable him to perform live with AC/DC again, the now-76-year-old Johnson worked with audio expert Stephen Ambrose, who said he could help resolve the singer's hearing problems.

Ambrose, who invented the wireless in-ear monitors that are widely used by touring artists today, claimed to have invented a new type of ear-bud that would allow Johnson to perform without causing further damage to his eardrums. After three years of experimenting and "miniaturizing" the equipment, Johnson previously said the technology could allow him to tour again."

Chris Dalston, who serves as co-head of international touring at CAA, spoke to Pollstar about the wild success of ticket sales for AC/DC's upcoming "Power Up" tour, which launches in Germany in May. Regarding how he approached the band's first tour since 2016, Chris said: "There was a lot of thought...

We have achieved remarkable success with our ADEL technology, which we have made available through a Beta In-Ear Monitor program. We have collaborated with some of the world’s best musicians, audiophiles, and individuals from different backgrounds. We can’t wait to share some of the inspiring stories from our beta users and research participants who supported us throughout this journey.

As we forge ahead, celebrating our significant research breakthroughs and achievements, we are nearing the end of our extensive beta testing program. This program has enabled us to work closely with each of our research participants, leading to numerous victories, revived careers, and enhanced lives. Before concluding this research phase, we are offering a limited opportunity for more individuals to join our Beta program and experience our innovative technology. ADEL Hearing Aid Retrofit

FYI, for those who currently use hearing aids, we have a new breakthrough ADEL upgrade!

Here is the first iteration of our new hearing aid retrofit. It easily replaces all conventional ear molds/tips and encloses any thin tube, J-tube, RIC (receiver in the canal or in-ear speaker) technology within our inflated ADEL ear lens featuring a tiny finger pump which resides in the co**ha bowl (where ear molds go) adjacent to the auditory meatus (opening of the ear canal). The batteries and BTE (behind the ear) portion of your hearing instrument are unaffected:

We recently had a huge success delivering our very first hearing aid retrofit to Dan W. (profound deafness in both ears caused by medication)

Dan: “There’s a big difference - music through my Bluetooth hearing aids sounds as good as my ADEL IEMs - also phone calls and even TV commercials sound great. Can hear conversations much better! I’m not excluded and isolated into my own little world anymore”.

Here’s some info I just sent to another client:

“Yes, there are lots of great OTC Bluetooth hearing aids on the internet, any of which can be retrofitted with our technology with a little design alteration. Although our upcoming full featured device will also be good enough to use on stage or in the studio (also rendering it better for everyday use), our new retrofit has been performing well enough with conventional aids that it allows us to take advantage of the many features being offered now in new hearing instruments, one of which employs an electronic noise cancellation or isolation feature that cuts out background noise using the same process iPhone or Zoom uses to cut out noisy restaurant or workplace sounds. This is very effective in many (but certainly not all) different environments.

My research has shown that audiograms only represent the extreme measures required to make hearing aids work at all - they do not represent how people actually hear life, and when applied literally as such, they become a self fulfilling misdiagnosis.

Nevertheless, a trip to your favorite ENT or hearing aid dealer (audiologist, as they are referred to) might be helpful…

- (as long as you ignore any potential dire warnings of “your audiogram proves how bad your hearing is and it’s all going to get worse”. Although I’m only a self taught researcher with no license to prescribe or give medical advice, I am the inventor of the original personal listening devices which are so ubiquitous today, and my research shows that audio perception is so subjective, a doleful misdiagnosis easily becomes manifest in direct proportion to how frightening it is). -

With the above precaution, when not limited by the software or devices they are restricted by, many practitioners are well intended, know and can demonstrate the features of their various devices, and their audiograms can give a rough estimate of the degree of hearing loss being currently manifested - information which can better inform your selection of devices either from a dealer or on-line.

Note: our first ADEL retrofit subject went to his audiologist to have his hearing aids reprogrammed yesterday.

Despite his audiogram showing profound hearing loss and prescribing huge amounts of volume needed at specific frequencies, she intuitively tuned them for what sounded best to him, which astoundingly ended up with a totally flat equalization curve in which no frequencies needed to be boosted at all.

I recommend Bluetooth devices that have iPhone apps which also feature EQ as well as the noise isolation/cancellation feature described above and which are in the volume range you need (mild, medium or profound).

Mild to medium devices are available OTC and because our ADEL technology allows lower volumes to sound louder, they can often work in for profound hearing loss situations.

If you do have a hearing practitioner you trust, I would be happy to consult with them. Otherwise, I can help you evaluate the many devices which are available online.”
