With over 20 tango dance instructors to choose from in the Denver/Boulder area, why consider my classes? Because I strive to make the learning enjoyable for my students. Even though I teach all the rigorous and difficult techniques that are necessary for anyone to learn this dance, and even though your path might be long and arduous, I firmly believe that the process needs to be enjoyable. That's
my goal -- to make the process rewarding, invigorating and fun. I invite you to try out one of my classes and see for yourself! I have been dancing for over 30 years, and have won many contests. I danced Country Swing, Ballroom, and Latin Dance before coming to Argentine Tango in 1997. It all started when I witnessed an Argentine Tango performance and instantly fell in love. Here was the dance I had been looking for -- one that allowed incredible creativity, and one that had a beautiful sensuality and freedom of expression. In the years since then, I've studied with many wonderful instructors from Argentina, the U.S. I have been teaching and performing Argentine Tango since 2004 and have progressed to a point where my joy overflows. I feel that this dance, more than any other, presents a unique opportunity for connection and expression. It has the potential to enrich our lives, and I welcome you to join me on this journey. I teach in Denver at the old Danz Arts Studio, 520 Cherokee Street, on Sundays from 3 - 4 PM. I teach in Boulder at the Avalon Ballroom, 6185 Arapahoe Avenue, on Sundays from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
