Day 6 - SUMMIT!!! Congratulations to our Canadians!! They pushed through their challenges and 100% of the group made it safely to the summit! We africa adventures are so proud of all of you!!

Day 5- After a short hike the group gets an opportunity to relay, rest, eat, and prepare for a midnight ascent for a sunrise summit experience. Thanks always to outoor equipment for the gear that keeps our clients safe, warm, and enjoying their experience on the mountain

Day 4 on the mountain. Uhuru Peak is in sight as the group passes over the Great Barranco wall and settle into Karanga camp for the night.

Day 3 Lava Tower Camp for a hot lunch prepared for the climbers. They dine at 4600m (15,000') before descending 600m elevation to sleep at Barranco Hut camp. They are now in the Alpine desert climate zone.

Day 2 Our crew has camp set up and dinner prepared for the group as they arrive at Shira camp (3750m, 12,300'). The fog lifts slightly at sunset reminding them they'll be sleeping in the clouds near the top of the Heather and Moreland climate zone. They have been working hard and acclimating as they ascend Kilimanjaro.

Day 1 when they arrive at the Machame gate, get some quick photos and begin the 7 day climb up on Machame Route. After driving through the cultivation zone, prior to the Machame gate, our experienced guides lead the group through lush foliage in the rainforest zone, arriving at camp 1 (Machame Hut)
