Rumor has it that there's a movie inspired by the story of our Pauline Tabor. We've teamed up with Warren County Public Library and will host a meet and greet on June 5th at the The Capitol BG. Tickets are FREE, go get'em!

Coming June 5 at 6:30pm at The Capitol, the film’s characters and plot may be oddly familiar to those in BG’s Pauline stories. In 1973 Pauline Tabor decided it was finally time to part with her extravagant antique collection valued at $500,000 and she would settle for nothing less. This article published in the May 7, 1973 edition of the Clarksville TN newspaper share just how much Pauline valued her collection.
To have a piece of furniture today would be coveted by one of her many fans.

In 1971 Pauline Tabor published her autobiography, Pauline’s: Memoirs of the Madam on Clay Street, which details her life story and experiences as a of the longest-running brothel in the United States. The memoir also features photographs, portraits, and illustrations by jazz album cover artist David Stone Martin.
