Last night, I proved to myself that I can still dance, even do the electric slide, holding Bob's hand. When there is a will, there is a way! Dancing has always been a passion of mine, and I am thrilled to say that passion is still alive and well.
Due to my injuries, I've had to adapt to not driving, which has been the case for 19 years now. Now, I have my own set of wheels again, and they're in my favorite color—purple. This change, needing a walker or, should I say, being grateful for my walker, didn't take long for me to embrace. As I've always said, I am an optimistic realist.
We are now counting down to our next dose of Vitamin Sea, and I know there will be more dancing soon. With my walker by my side, I realize I can still be me, doing all the things I love with more stability.
Someone asked if I had named my new set of wheels. I haven't yet. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Let's all keep moving forward, adapting, and dancing through life with a smile and determination—two important things in life.
