Did you know pistacchio is used in both sweet and savory recipes?

For example, pasta al pesto di pistacchio (try saying that three times fast!) is a Sicilian classic. There's also cotoletta in crosta di pistacchio, a delicious veal cutlet "breaded" in pistachio crumbs. You can replace veal with a thin slice of swordfish, or a cotoletta di pesce spada.

And of course, dessert! Cakes, cannoli, nougat, cream spread (move over, avocado toast!), and gelato.
