Updates about Beartooth Highway! ☺️

(Heads Up!) The last day for visitors to drive the Beartooth Highway (US-212) between Red Lodge, Montana, and Yellowstone's Northeast Entrance near Cooke City/Silver Gate, Montana, is Monday, Oct. 14. The highway will be closed for the season Oct. 15.

Automobile travel east of Cooke City, Montana, to the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway is possible until early November, weather dependent.

Stay informed! Check both the Montana and Wyoming departments of transportation websites for road updates and status.

The gardens are loving this weather. And the bees are loving the gardens.

The herbs are happy and producing, the carrots are loving being thinned out little by little every time someone needs a snack. Next year we will see a bounty of strawberries and raspberries!

I clip the daisy heads to save for more planting next year, as Daisies are my favorite flower. Even though Fox Hollow blooms are starting to slow, there’s plenty of time left to enjoy the peace under the trees.

“Jessica, we were so very pleased with our stay at Fox Hollow Inn! For our group of two couples it was so perfect to have both units available and thus the whole house. We had individual private time and very comfortable together space in the larger unit and on the lovely front deck. Morning coffee there was delightful! This little buck followed a doe through the backyards this afternoon. It’s always a treat to see them finish off some of the garden scraps that the chickens left and make themselves comfortable for a bit.
