Extra Guest Rates & Rules

Having extra guests on the property to attend any gathering costs an additional $5,000. This fee can be paid on arrival and includes access to the
3,000 square feet of outdoor covered space including the big tiki hut,
3 stall luxury restroom trailer equipped with AC, stereo, paper towels, and TP,
Silent disco equipment,
Industrial fridge,
15...... 6 foot long rectangle

tables,
15..... 5 foot long circle tables,
75 tan banquet chairs,
>75 white folding chairs,
400 sq ft dance floor,
outside custom tiki bar,
outdoor lighting in the tiki hut and backyard, and our parking lot for 50+ cars. Here is a short list of rules we have for having extra guests and renting premium amenities. You can play music in the game house after 8pm
75 people is the max limit for any gathering. Occasionally parties have gotten out of control, so to help you prevent this issue, an off duty BPD Officer must be hired for security. Having this nonintrusive officer standing at the end of the driveway relieves your duty to unnecessarily deal with police being called during your special day. If you are serving liquor you must purchase a liability policy you can buy online for about $150. Internet search K and K insurance for coverage options. Email me your certificate of liability insurance 30 days prior to arrival with Don Power as the beneficiary. An additional $1,000 deposit will be required for having extra guests at the home. If any house rules, extra guest rules, local noise ordinance laws, or excessive wear and tear on the property and home occur, your deposit may be forfeited. If no rules are broken, the deposit will be returned within 5 days of check out/visual inspection of the property. All set up and take down of tables, chairs, decorations, etc. are your responsibility. IMPORTANT All events and extra guests must be approved first before booking

Never stop improving.

During almost every tour and feedback conversation I have with guests, they say “You guys really thought of everything!” It would be easy to get complacent and think “yeah, we really do have it all.” But that’s not how we think at Shangri-La. We stay humble to recognize that there are many potential areas for improvement.

For example, we didn’t let our Super Bowl guests settle with the 70’ flatscreen TV in the movie theater room. We bought them a brand new bluetooth projector with amazing picture and audio quality to watch their team lose on the big screen. Go Bucs! Haha

Who would want to walk from the game house to the main house for a fresh glass of Florida spring water from the Culligan filter? No one! That’s why we got a second 5 gallon dispenser for the game house and colorful cups to tell your drinks from one another.

In the past 3 months we’ve also added:

One of our strongest core values at Shangri-La is “fun for everyone.” Some people find it in the movie room, massage chair, hot tub, paddle boards, or cooking a nice meal for the family. Others find it in the iron paradise of Crunch Fitness lifting heavy weights and running on the treadmill. That’s why we’ve partnered with Crunch to provide 8 complementary guest passes that you can use during your visit at Shangri-La. Just send me your name so I can update the guest list, bring your ID, and you’ll have access to premium membership that includes hydro massages and tanning beds!
