With almost 20,000 bears in Pennsylvania, there is always a possibility of encountering one or more in the Allegheny National Forest region. Here are some tips to keep any potential encounter a positive one.

* Don't feed the wildlife
* Keep a clean campsite
* Do not store food or any scented items in your tent
* Do not leave food unattended at a campsite
* Use bear-resistant food storage containers or hang food in a bear bag
* Do not store garbage at your campsite. Use a designated dumpster
* While dispersed camping, cook and store food away from your sleeping area

Always remember YOU are responsible for your own safety and those around you.

Trail Central loves it when others talk about how great it is in the Allegheny National Forest Region. In an "Ultimate Guide to Fall Attractions and Activities In Pennsylvania - Where To Go In Pennsylvania For Fall Foliage" KINZUA BRIDGE SKYWALK is the #1 spot to view the Pennsylvania fall foliage.

One of the most popular places for viewing Pennsylvania's fall foliage is, arguably, Kinzua Bridge Skywalk, an overlook that boasts awe-inspiring views of the surrounding forest. Stroll to the end of the skywalk, where you'll find a glass floor. If you have time, explore the state park on a hike, or have a picnic as you drink in the colorful landscape. Leaf peeping at Kinzua Bridge State Park ranks as one of the best things to do in Pennsylvania in the fall.

Pull out your bucket list and add the best things to do in Pennsylvania in the fall.
