Update on gratuities' from RCCL

Dear Travel Partner,

We are excited to welcome your clients’ onboard for their upcoming Royal Caribbean sailing!

As they prepare to set sail, we wanted to notify them of an update to our daily gratuity charges. As of November 1, 2024, the automatic daily gratuity charge will increase from $18.00 USD to $18.50 USD per guest, per day for regular staterooms, including Junior Suites, and from $20.50 USD to $21.00 USD per guest, per day for suites. The daily gratuity is shared among dining, bar & culinary services staff, stateroom attendants, and other hotel services teams.

If your clients would like to pre-pay their gratuities at the current rate before it increases, we’re happy to extend this opportunity to them. If they would prefer to pay onboard, their gratuity charge will be applied to their onboard account at the new rate.

Other onboard gratuity policies remain the same – an 18% gratuity will be automatically added to purchases for bar service beverages, room service and mini bar items and 20% gratuity will be automatically added to purchases for spa & salon services. These will be itemized on their receipt at the end of each purchase.

We thank you for your understanding and can’t wait to welcome them onboard!
