The plan now is to reopen with live Cajun music on Sunday, June 28 at 2 pm with The Cajun Cousins. The configuration of the seating will provide for social distancing and occupancy limitations. It’s our goal to provide a safe environment for all attendees.
We will officially announce on our page this Wednesday. Only drawback is if the State backtracks on the reopening guidelines.
Stay tune for more information on the return of High Performance & Special guest on Saturday July 18.

We encourage every musician (any genre or skill level) to celebrate on their front porch, front yard, local restaurant and dance hall to be a part of World Music Day. Fête de la Musique is modeled after a Parisian tradition that began in 1982 as a tribute to the Summer Solstice. More specifically, each June 21st Paris is filled with musicians of all kinds performing on sidewalks, lawns, balconies, in parks, etc. for anyone to enjoy at no cost. In 2007, Fête de la Musique crossed the Atlantic with the debut of Make Music New York. Fête de la Musique is now held on the same day in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries.

Dear Friends and supporters of the St. Bernard/St. Francis Food Pantry,

In this era of uncertainty, one thing remains absolute: The St. Bernard/St. Francis Food Pantry has remained open to serve the needy of St. Martin Parish with food assistance.

The coronavirus has placed barricades around nearly every facet of our way of life in St. Martin Parish. It has halted social gatherings, closed our schools, Churches and many businesses, but admirably the Pantry volunteers have been able to continue to help the poor and needy of over 500 families per month, with pre-packed boxes of food. The St. Bernard/St. Francis Pantry gets a large portion of its food donated by the very organizations and businesses that have been closed due to the COVID-19 virus, with the diminishing amount of donated food and reduced supplies from Second Harvest, the Pantry must purchase more of the staples from local merchants. Who ever thought there would be a shortage of toilet paper, peanut butter and canned protein (tuna, chicken and meats).

Many of the food pantries in the Acadiana area have closed their doors till after the crisis, but the St. Bernard/St. Francis Food Pantry is determined to keep its doors open to help the St. Martin Parish residents who are in need.

This Pandemic is far from over and the SB/SF Pantry needs your help with food and monetary donations. For food donations please bring them to 701 W. Bridge St. in Breaux Bridge on Monday or Tuesday Morning between the hours of 8:30 and 11:00am or call 337-314-9494 to make other arrangements. Monetary donations may be mailed to St. Bernard/St. Francis Food Pantry @ P.O. Box 72, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517.

The St. Bernard/St. Francis Food Pantry is a non-profit, non-sectarian, equal opportunity organization and is a tax-exempt entity with its own federal tax ID number as described in section 501c(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
