Hello & welcome to our page!!! We hope that those of you who "Like" us will share your good times at the Lake and post pictures of your Lake fun. We want this to be a fun page for family, friends and renters to enjoy. We will post updates of the events going on at the Lake & hope that you will participate. If you are looking for a rental property talk to us. Below is a brief description of the cottage & location. Hewitt Cottage is a rustic cottage with 100 feet of private waterfront on beautiful Newfound Lake looking over to scenic Mt. Cardigan. The cottage, located in Bridgewater NH, is the perfect get away for a family vacation. We feature a private stone pier located in front of the cottage with a sandy swim area, as well as a mooring for your boat. Newfound, one of the cleanest lakes in NH, is a recreational paradise, without the commercialism of a large lake resort area. There is a free public boat launch at Wellington State Park across the lake, additionally, the local marina has boat rentals. Local area attractions include, Mt. Cardigan for hiking, Grey Rocks, Polar Caves, Sculptured Rocks (for both hiking and swimming in some of the coldest water) New Hampshire Audubon Center with an educational visitors center and Weirs Beach amusement area at Lake Winnipesaukee. The area restaurants feature a wide variety of cuisine from Mexican to seafood. Have questions?
