On Veterans Day, we honor all those who have served their countries, including those within our own ranks.
Across Convatec, we proudly employ former service personnel who bring their skills, experience and service ethos to support us improve the lives of patients around the world.
These colleagues include Melanie, who served in the US Air Force for 10 years as a Medical Administrator. She worked in the Medical records department, Admissions, Patient Advocate and as a Military Instructor, and acquired practical skills and familiarity with the healthcare environment, all of which she uses in her role today.
Today we join the nation to remember the legacy and sacrifice of all those who serve.

"I have mentioned time after time that I love to live an active and on the go lifestyle with an ostomy, and this has continued as long as my health permits! What this means is that I have to continue to use products that I can rely on so I don’t have to pause my life to worry about my ostomy bag (even though this can happen from time to time).
One particular accessory I would like to point out is the Eakin Cohesive® Seal by Convatec! This barrier ring is like no other on the market, in my opinion. The seal helps prevent leaks and form to your skin by filling in any divots or creases around your stoma. I like the slim version as well, because it is discreet and doesn’t add much thickness to my appliance.
Today was a busy day of driving a few hours, going to lunch by the beach with my nana, then going to walk around a ranch to visit the horse ranch nearby! I was worried about my long day, and wanted to make sure my bag would stand up to the activities, the food, and the weather.
