It’s been awhile since we’ve posted—life gets busy.

Right now we are taking some time off to visit St. Simons Island in Georgia! It is absolutely GORGEOUS!

We are staying at the Grace Escape— just a short walk to the beach. This three bedroom, three story, updated home with heated pool, has everything we need for a relaxing stay! Thanks Grace and Zach for hosting us!!

When we started Vacations by Coastal Haven, we had only dabbled in photography, owned a decent DSLR camera with a few lenses and were lucky to have a best friend with a husband who has written several books on Photoshop. We never planned to actually TAKE and edit real estate photos for our clients but somehow we found ourselves doing just that!

We learned a lot about angles, color theory, lighting, editing and more along the way. We now have a course to teach amateur photographers who just need a quick way to take photos of their rentals with as little as their cell phone camera and Lightroom app.

While there are so many talented professional photographers who I’ve personally used, another option is to take our on demand photography course to learn the basics for yourself. Both options are great! To find our course, visit our website and click “shop”.
