FINALLY!! After more than a year of visits to various doctors, physical therapists & a neurosurgeon- who all said “just don’t use your right hand!”- Kelley had carpal tunnel surgery on his right hand this morning.

Everything went great, even though the technician even let out a “wow!” This is the first of a few medical issues that need to be addressed (like back surgery), but we’re happy that the ball is rolling now and they let him go ahead with this surgery before having to wait for everything else. Kelley has been in so much pain and unable to do many activities due to these issues.

We’re excited for him to be able to do more carpentry work through Little Wing Woodworking this fall/winter, washing my dishes from Pallin’ Around Charters, cleaning our properties, etc. Oh yeah, and he’s excited to get back on his motorcycle and kayak!!

Ummmm… I don’t even know where to start, but we are still alive! Left our home port of Pleasant Harbor Marina on the Hood Canal last Thursday, cruised to overnights at Port Ludlow & Edmonds with mom Fran and then picked up dad Trey & Jenny to head to Langley, Deception Pass & James Island San Juans tonight.

Per usual, everything has taken 3x longer & been 10x more amazing than I could have ever predicted. Above all, I am most thankful for Captain Kelley for being an excellent leader, our beautiful boat Pallin' Around Charters & my amazing family for making this a fun trip where we have learned so much!!

I will share more once we wrap up the trip. Just enjoying for now!
