‼️Take my advice and schedule a “rest” day in between your park days! It helps to recharge and gives you the opportunity to explore all that Walt Disney World has to offer!
✨For example….
🤠On our last trip, Maylee was picked to be on stage at Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue at the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds! She was on cloud 9 and in her element!
🌽From toe-tapping tunes to belly laughs galore, this lively dinner show gives off the Old West Charm! Enjoy a hearty, all-you-care-to-eat meal served family style! Think classic fried chicken, BBQ ribs, cornbread, baked beans and seasonal vegetable sides!
🌺💦Journey of Water, inspired by Moana is officially open at Epcot!!
🌺💦We were able to visit during soft opening last Friday!
🌺💦Take your time as you make your way through the trail, lots of educational information on the water cvcle can be found. (Who said you couldn’t learn new things at Walt Disney World?!)
🌺💦The water interactions were amazing! Maylee loved them all and kept wanting to do more! You can make music, command the water, and even walk through it!
🌺💦Be prepared to get wet. I had watched a video prior to coming and realized Maylee would need water shoes to play through the different areas. Thankfully, I packed those in my backpack for a quick change! There are dry paths to take but we found those to be a little wet as well. There is a splash pad area at the end, so there is a possibility of getting soaked. You may want to pack a change of clothes for this as well.
🌺💦We joined a Virtual Queue via the app and waited for our return time to be called. Where we were staying on Disney property, we were able to enter the parks 30 minutes prior to park opening at 9 am. I snagged a Virtual Queue right at 8:45 (when VQ opened) and we were in Boarding Group 1. I believe this is the plan for the future, which I think is good. It could get crowded quickly and if the paths are packed with people it would be difficult to participate in the water play!
🌺💦In order to meet Moana, you have to go through the line next to Spaceship Earth, not where the entrance is to Journey of Water. We didn’t know this and had to walk around to the other side of construction that is going on. Thankfully, it was still early and we didn’t have to wait long.
🌺💦 Overall, lots of memories were made!
Playing the flute while trying to earn a few Euros for ice cream 😂
Not everyday do you get serenaded on your birthday! 💕 so thankful for all the birthday wishes!
My favorite part of the show ❄️
The Frozen Sing-Along Celebration at Hollywood Studios is absolutely magical for so many reasons!🤍
The show itself is really well composed and includes favorites Elsa, Anna and Kristoff along with two royal historians of Arendelle, who frankly, make the show extra entertaining. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll sing (yes, 6’7” dads, too 😉) and you’ll leave the theater wanting more 🤍
The show is 30 minutes long (IN AIR CONDITIONING!), and it runs every hour on the half hour! The theater is now filled to capacity, but it’s still a good idea to get there about 10 minutes early 🤍
🇺🇸 One of the most humbling experiences I've ever experienced took place at Walt Disney World this past summer. We were honored to witness the Flag Retreat ceremony located on Main Street U.S.A.
❤️ The Flag Retreat ceremony is a tribute- a thank you to Veterans for their service, sacrifice and dedication to protecting our country. Every evening, a Veteran is selected to be the special guest to help retire the American flag for the night.
💙 Very touching and moving! I highly recommend catching this ceremony on your next WDW vacation!
This my why reason why 💛🌻💛🌻
Unpopular opinion: when you are stuck on “it’s a small world” …..you nap 🤣 😴
✨ Check out our first look at Disney's Coronado Springs! Can you spot the hidden Mickey’s?!?
📞 Disney Tip 📞
🐭 If you are staying on Walt Disney World property, you can request for Mickey to give your child a free “wake-up” call! Great way to start off a park day!
