Bad Branch Falls in Letcher County, Ky.
8 miles south of Whitesburg, Ky.
From US 119, turn left onto KY 932 (following signs for Bad Branch), travel east for 2 miles to gravel parking area on left side of KY 932.

With its beautiful trail and enchanting 60 ft. waterfall, it is a Letcher County treasure.
It is a must see for visitors wanting to explore our area.
Bad Branch Falls is also listed on The Kentucky Wildlands Waterfall Trail

Earlier this month, this poor baby was found near death at Sugar Hollow Park in Bristol, VA. He was pinned under bales of hay — with the person (or people) who did this obviously planning for this to be Jake’s final resting place.
Jake — the name his rescuers gave him. They also got him some much-needed medical care. And love. So much love. And he felt it, you can be certain of that.
Unfortunately, Jake has since succumbed to the health issues caused by the serious abuse he endured. The starvation. 😔 Now, there’s a reward for information leading to the arrest of the person/people who did this to him.
