We are happy to announce that despite the passage of Hurricane Helene through upstate, Abrams Falls Cabin has not suffered any damage. The property remains safe, fully operational, and open to welcome guests as planned. We look forward to hosting visitors in the serene surroundings of our cabin, ensuring a comfortable and worry-free stay.

Built in 1910, the Bristol Virginia-Tennessee sign has become a treasured landmark along State Street. The Bristol Gas and Electric Company erected the sign atop a hardware store before moving it to its current location (which straddles the Virginia and Tennessee sides) in 1915.

The slogan “A Good Place To Live” won a contest that was held in 1921, replacing the previous slogan “Push! - That’s Bristol.”
