Had a great conversation with the bartender at who gave me the idea to infuse Krispy Kreme donuts in vodka. Took on that project this weekend and now enjoying an Apple Cider Donut cocktail (infused vodka, splash of apple cider and dash of All Spice). I love talking with my Hospitality brothers and sisters while traveling because you always learn fascinating and fun things!!!

Capital One has started opening lounges in airports- similar to airline lounges but doesn’t matter what airline you are flying. So when I’m so brain fried from planning a 5,000 person event in 6 weeks that I confuse a 6am depart house for 8 am flight with a 4am depart house for 6 am flight… at least I can drink a fancy latte while I work!

Remember y’all it’s spring break season so be prepared. I flew through with TSA Pre-check…past the really long line of student groups and vacationers, but the gate area was no picnic either. Just be prepared!

Cruising is a fun and cost effective way to destination hop. Cruises really are a choose your own adventure vacation. While at port, enjoy an offsite excursion or just sunbathe on a beach. On sailing days, play at the pool or relax at the spa. For our honeymoon, we went on a Western Caribbean cruise with Royal Caribbean.
