Announcement: Graymills Corporation Expands Offering for Cleaning Solutions Through Partnership with FinnSonic

Graymills Corporation is pleased to introduce a distribution partnership with FinnSonic, a Finnish company that designs and manufactures process solutions for Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) and automated cleaning solutions for various industries and MRO. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in broadening Graymills’ offering across the U.S. market. Graymills will focus on distributing FinnSonic’s automated ultrasonic cleaning solutions to industrial and automotive customers. Combining FinnSonic’s expertise in smart and efficient cleaning solutions with Graymills’ extensive knowledge of industrial cleaning together with an established distribution network will create significant value for customers in North America.

Our joint efforts will debut at the PRI Show 2024 December 12-14 in Indianapolis, Indiana. This event will be an excellent opportunity for customers to experience the benefits of this partnership firsthand.

The legacy was started by a pump that evolved into parts washers after WW2 and then ink pumps in the 1960’s. Graymills grew in Chicago, in the area now known as Wrigleyville. Ever wondered how ultrasonic cleaners work? Here's a sight few see... an up-close look at the transducers in our Ultrasonic parts washers. Ultrasonic parts washers work by inducing controlled cavitation in the cleaning fluid. Cavitation bubbles form and collapse suddenly, releasing tremendous energy against the surfaces of objects immersed in the tank. This action "scrubs" hard to remove soils from the parts. Cavitation is determined by the frequency of the unit. Low frequencies generate large cavitation and high frequencies generate smaller cavitation, but in greater numbers. And thanks to the network of transducers in the underbelly of our units, that strong effective cleaning power of cavitation is possible.
