At our Broadview, IL plant, every Tempest SWF spray cabinet is crafted with care, precision, and expertise. Today, we’re shining a spotlight on Alex, one of our dedicated technical assemblers. From welding to wiring, Alex and the rest of our talented team meticulously build each unit right on site.

Ever wondered how ultrasonic cleaners work? Here's a sight few see... an up-close look at the transducers in our Ultrasonic parts washers. Ultrasonic parts washers work by inducing controlled cavitation in the cleaning fluid. Cavitation bubbles form and collapse suddenly, releasing tremendous energy against the surfaces of objects immersed in the tank. This action "scrubs" hard to remove soils from the parts. Cavitation is determined by the frequency of the unit. Low frequencies generate large cavitation and high frequencies generate smaller cavitation, but in greater numbers. And thanks to the network of transducers in the underbelly of our units, that strong effective cleaning power of cavitation is possible.

Immersion cleaning involves placing parts in a cleaning solution to contact their entire surface, frequently with pump or lift platform agitation and ultrasonics. It's the most effective degreasing method, though not the fastest. Use immersion cleaning for parts that need to be placed in baskets or require a long soaking time due to the type of contamination or the shape of the parts.
