Important Update from City of Brockton:

In anticipation of the upcoming snowstorm, Mayor Robert Sullivan has declared a Snow Emergency beginning at 9 pm tonight.

The declaration of a Snow Emergency requires that all residents refrain from parking on all City streets until the Emergency has been rescinded at the discretion of the Mayor.

The following parking lots are available to residents who need a place to park their vehicles during the storm:

• The parking lot on the east side of Montello St. between Crescent St. and White Ave.
• Warren Ave. lot on the west side of Warren Ave. between Belmont St. and Bartlett St.
• South Street lot on South St. near Main St. behind the gas station
• Howard School, located at 837 North Main St.
• Whitman School, located at 25 Manomet St.
• James Edgar Playground, located at 177 Dover St.
• Downtown Parking Garage, located at 42 Crescent St.

Per Brockton Emergency Management Agency:

** WARMING/CHARGING CENTER **

The City of Brockton has opened a warming / charging center at the Main Public Library (304 Main St) from 9 am - 5 pm in the community room (lower level) for residents without power who are in need of a warm environment and an opportunity to charge their cell phones.

Van Route is Scheduled Monday through Friday
Split Shift - Available to work Morning & Afternoons

Flooding is expected. DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED STREETS!

Reason #1 Your engine could get flooded causing your vehicle to shut down.

Reason #2 You don't know what's under the water that can cause damage to your vehicle.

There are many reasons and we go over them in our training course provided for 7D Drivers.

In February we renewed our Commercial Insurance & there was a payment increase!

This month schools reopened on a hybrid schedule starting with kindergarten students so we had to purchase booster seats price increase!

Vehicle maintenance at the repair shop 🤦🏽‍♀️ price increase!

Yesterday I went to get gas of course there was a price increase!

In this industry we have been dealing with the increases that come along with maintaining our businesses to be in compliance with EEC and the RMV while there has not been an increase in transportation rates in over 15years.

Well I hope you all were listening because that all changed at yesterday's EEC's board meeting! Finally heard the words TRANSPORTATION INCREASE APPROVED! Finally this was long overdue & hopefully it will not take this long ever again!

Thank you Commissioner Samantha, The Team, & The Board for getting this done!

Dear EEC Community,
Earlier today Governor Baker announced that early education and child care providers will be eligible to schedule their COVID-19 vaccine starting March 11. Educators, assistants, and associated staff supporting in-person work with children will join the currently eligible groups (including 65+ and individuals with 2+ certain medical conditions).

This includes VAN DRIVERS!!
