Hey there! It's been a hot minute since I've posted on social. I took a break during the pandemic and focused on helping my existing clients navigate through it all and start traveling again.

By now you probably know that I’m a luxury travel planner specializing in bucket list trips and celebration travel. I started my travel agency 16 years ago! Has it been that long?

I can’t say I love EVERYTHING about this career... Hello Pandemic! That has been my favorite thing, ever.

But if I had to pick my 3 favorite parts of being a travel advisor I’d choose introducing my clients to unique experiences. helping others connect to their true self through travel, and spoiling my clients.

I love what I do! And on I’m shouting it from the rooftops.

May 6th! National Travel Advisor Day! Let's Celebrate!

This year.... phew! This day holds a whole new meaning, a new depth, and definitely a completely different perspective... I won't say it's been easy. In fact, since March through now has been very challenging.

I want nothing more than to see everyone traveling again, safely! Enjoying your well-deserved, long-awaited vacations. Celebrations. Milestones.

I deeply miss seeing those smiling faces. I miss the worldly experiences. I miss the connections. I miss every possible thing that one gains from traveling the world! I'm a wanderlust! It's in my soul. So deeply rooted and ingrained in all that I do.

But know that when it’s possible again. When it’s safe. I will not take traveling for granted! I will respect the opportunities we have. The chances we get. If only one thing comes from this time at home, I pray that people become more connected, more in tune with others, more compassionate, and more grateful in their hearts, and then share that wherever they go! 💖

We all get busy. Our intentions are good. You think about where you want to go, what you want to do. And then.... life takes over.

A new deadline at work, kids’ activities, daily household tasks, family pressures to call more, visit more. It’s exhausting.

I challenge you though, to take back your precious time. You don’t have to do it all. There’s no trophy or medal for who does the most each day!

So let’s take a step back. Assess priorities. Leave the emotion out. (I’m guilty of this.) Start tonight. Make a list of where you’ve always wanted to visit and start planning it now!

Don’t have the time? It’s too complicated and gives you a headache? Work with w professional. That’s what they do day in and day out. Always happy to help ensure you vacation is amazing.

They key (and my simple nudge)... just start. No “but this, but that”, no excuses. Just start.

My heart! 💔 I get it, though. There are times when we just can't take the time off, for a variety of reasons. But to have this many unused vacation days... 😥

It's vital to our health, both mental and physical, for our families and relationships, for our own wellbeing, that we take time to unplug, have fun, let loose, shut off the everyday pressures.

If you are part of this statistic, we need to talk. Not for me to "convince" you to book a vacation, but simply to give you some tough love and ensure you understand how critical "off" time is for you to be the best YOU.

Let's get real. It's disheartening to see SO many Americans forgoing their vacation time. Paid time off can be used however you need to. A day to decompress, rest, spend the day with friends and family. No one said "vacation" time had to be used to take a vacation away from home.

Think about that... Are you open to taking a day or 2, here and there, to relax, refresh and recharge? Your mind and boy will thank you!

Today is National Plan for Vacation Day. Celebrated annually on the last
Tuesday in January, its a day used to encourage Americans to plan their vacation days for whole year at the start of the year—and inspire them to use those days to travel not only within the USA, but around the world!

Bringing awareness and encouraging everyone to get out there and travel is a huge passion of mine! I'm not here to sell you anything except to use the days you have so deservedly earned...

Throughout the day I'll post a few staggering statistics in hopes more of you will take time off and go exploring, relaxing, create some memories, whatever is that you need to unplug, unwind and reset!

14+ years ago my wedding was a destination wedding. I will admit, it was a struggle, to say the least. I didn’t know any better. I chose to work with the wrong people or lack thereof, and most of the burden was put on me. So I really understand the decisions, pressures, and uncertainties that go with wanting and dreaming of a perfectly planned wedding and luxury honeymoon.
