Kayaking in Beavers Bend State Park on the Lower Mountain Fork River. Beavers Bend River Floats offers some of the most breathtaking views of southeastern Oklahoma’s Kiamichi Mountains. 2.5 mile scenic float trip down the Mountain Fork River, which takes upwards of an hour on the river’s calm waters. Visitors can bring their own canoes and kayaks or rent onsite. The Lower Mountain Fork River also offers plenty of opportunities for year-round angling!

A Hochatown Hidden Gem! Fish Tales Winery and Bistro is an experience you won’t want to miss.

Hands down some of the most unique food in Hochatown! You won’t find anything fried here; they offer a variety of fresh food that pairs nicely with their wine. Their specialty is their hot baked dips and garlic toast. Their Paninis are unique and delicious.

They also bottle their own wines which are exceptional!

Fish Tales offers 2 unique spaces. The indoor wine tasting room is reserved for ages 21 and older.

The bistro offers options as well! Relax inside and eat by the fireplace, or enjoy the outdoors on the large patio. The patio is kid and pet friendly!
