✨Magic Band Monday✨

Magic Bands (especially Magic Band+) are known to easily come unsnapped. These security bands are great for helping your bands stay in place. affiliate link: https://amzn.to/3tZD7Vm

In order for Magic Band+ to be able to light up, vibrate and interact with nighttime shows, you have to remember to charge it every night. (FYI: If you forget to charge your Magic Band+, the band will still work as a regular Magic Band, it just won’t do all the extra fun things the Magic Band + has to offer. Hollywood Studios’ nighttime show is called Fantasmic! HOW LONG IS THE SHOW? Fantasmic! is a 29-minute show and since the theater is outdoors, you can bring food/snacks in to eat while you sit and wait for the show to start. WHERE IS FANTASMIC! LOCATED? Fantasmic! takes place down Sunset Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater. The Amphitheater is in the same area as the Tower of Terror. WHAT IS THE FANTASMIC! DINING EXPERIENCE?The Fantasmic! Dining Experience includes a meal at one of the participating Disney’s Hollywood Studios restaurants and reserved seating in the Fantasmic! Amphitheater. This means that instead of waiting in line for 60-90 minutes outside the theater, you can walk right up to the theater 30-45 minutes before show time (no waiting in a long line!) and still have a seat. HOW EARLY DO I HAVE TO GET TO THE THEATER?You must arrive 20-30 minutes before the show starts. There are enough packages available that the Reserved section gets filled up, so if you want a better seat selection within the reserved section, plan to arrive more than 30 minutes before show time. Even though you still need to arrive early, you do NOT have to wait in line like those without reserved seating — you can just walk straight to the reserved section and sit down. Don’t skip the parks at night! It’s worth going back to your hotel for an afternoon break and then going back to the parks at night! Also, if you are staying in a deluxe resort make sure to take advantage of the Extended Evening Hours. These hours are only available to guests staying in a deluxe Walt Disney World Resort hotel, and provide two hours of additional park time after regular park close. This means shorter lines and less crowds. These hours occur only 2 nights per week in certain parks so make sure to check your My Disney Experience app for more details during your trip!

We’re doing a split stay this trip. Started at Animal Kingdom and switching hotels to the Beach Club for the rest of the week. If you are interested in doing a split stay, Disney will hold and transfer your luggage between Disney resorts.
