Just Returned!

No better way to spend your Sunday Morning than checking out the priceless photos of the Finch Family’s recent trip to Disney World! The photos really show the love that these sisters have for each other.

This crew hit the parks hard with 3 days of nonstop park hopping fun! They took in one of a kind, exclusive experiences that only Disney can offer like a princess makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and dining 220 miles above Earth at Space 220! They also were happy to take in the Polynesian Village Resort for the first time and have now joined me as a Poly loyalist!

Just Booked!

The Martinez Family is heading back to Disney World in 2025!

Disney World has too many amazing resorts to choose from; so, we are going to experience our first split stay! For this trip, we chose to stay at Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.

Why we chose Disney's Beach Club Resort:
1. The resort is a quick 5 minute walk from access to Epcot's International Gateway allowing us to have quick access to eating/drinking around the world and two of Epcot's top attractions, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and Frozen Ever After.
2. You have the option for an extended walk, short boat ride, or even Skyliner transportation to Disney's Hollywood Studios.
3. Great dining options including a Character Breakfast at Cape May Cafe and some of the best ice cream on property at Beaches and Cream.
4. Stormalong Bay! Stormalong Bay is widely regarded as the best pool at Disney World and features a large slide, lazy river, and sand-bottom pool.
5. This resort is beautiful inside and out. It is also located within walking distance to Disney's Boardwalk Resort and Disney's Yacht Club offering even more dining options.

Why we chose Disney's Polynesian Village Resort:
1. As Disney Vacation Club Owners, this is our home resort. My wife's only request when I asked her in 2020 to become DVC owners was the Poly has to be our home resort. This will be our third trip back home since we purchased.
2. The Poly has some of the best dining on Disney World property with two fantastic sit down restaurants, Kona Cafe and Ohana, the consistently great Captain Cook's quick service, Pineapple Lanai for all the Dole Whip, and Trader Sam's Grog Grotto for a one of a kind tiki bar!
3. The Lava Pool and Water Play Area is my kid's favorite, and tires them out quite well for us. The adults also have the option for the Oasis (quiet pool) to kick back and relax from all the fun.
4. Monorail access to Magic Kingdom and Epcot! Quick access into and out of the park is a top priority for our crew, which allows us to take our mid-day break and avoid burnout at the parks.
5. The Poly has some of the most unique and gorgeous grounds of any resort on Disney property, and you fill fully immersed in their theming.

What type of ticket is right for my family?

Last week, we covered the steps to consider when purchasing your tickets and the types of tickets. This week, we will cover which type of ticket is best for each type of Disney World Guest.

Choosing the right ticket depends on factors like the length of stay, preferred park experiences, and budget. Disney offers options to suit various family dynamics and vacation styles, ensuring everyone can find a ticket that meets their needs.

1) Base Tickets (1 Park Per Day):

Best for: Families who prefer a more relaxed pace, focusing on one park per day. These tickets are a great option for families with small children who do not want to bounce around to different parks or fold up their stroller multiple times per day. Also, families who are wanting to make their Disney World Vacation more budget friendly.

Benefit: Allows thorough exploration of each park without rushing, save money on the tickets and Genie + purchase, and Ideal for families with younger children or those who prefer a structured itinerary.

2) Park Hopper Tickets:

Best for: Families who want flexibility to visit multiple parks on the same day. Great for families with teenagers. Also, families with Disney World stays where the number of days to explore exceeds the number of parks (4).

Benefit: Ideal for families who want to experience a variety of attractions across different parks without being restricted to one. Helpful during peak seasons or when specific attractions have longer wait times, allowing families to switch to another park with shorter lines. Another benefit is opens up more dining flexibility if several dining options in one park interest you.

3) Park Hopper Plus Tickets:

Best for: Families who also want to visit the Disney water parks, golf courses, or other entertainment options. Guests who have traveled to Disney World on many occasions and want to experience more that Disney has to offer outside of the parks.

Benefit: Access to Disney water parks (Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon), which are perfect for a day of water fun in Florida's climate. Adds visits to other Disney entertainment options like Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, and miniature golf courses. Also, includes all of the perks of standard Park Hopper ticket.

Epic Universe Media Preview Center is open for viewing at Universal’s City Walk!

In the preview center you can find photo ops of all the portals of the park, new merchandise, and a YUGE model of the entire mark 🏞️🏰🎢

There is even an app you can download that you use on the model and it uses AR to show effects📱

As the opening of Epic Universe creeps closer and closer, it is important to remember that the Universal Resorts and Parks will be in high demand next summer.

Today, I celebrate my official One Year Anniversary with Key to the World Travel!

This first year as a Travel Advisor has far exceeded my greatest expectations in terms of the knowledge I have gained and the joy this profession has brought me.

I set my goal for my first year to plan 12 High Quality Vacations and to this point, 13 such vacations have been completed with another 14 on the books for the coming year! I can honestly say I give my 100% to anyone who allows me the privilege to plan their vacation. I put a lot of pressure on myself to make sure my clients have the best experience. Disney World Theme Park Ticket Options 🎟️

We've covered all things resort at Walt Disney World, and now it's time to dive into the ways you can experience its parks!

Obviously, you know Theme Park Tickets are required to experience Walt Disney World's Parks, but the phrasing of ticket options can sometimes be confusing. This confusion might lead you to select a ticket that's either less inclusive than expected or unnecessarily costly.

So, let's start with the basics today!

First things first: you have to decide how many days you want to spend in the parks. This is a personal choice, but I always recommend allowing at least one day to rest and fully experience your Disney World resort. For example, if you have a 6-night stay, that gives you 5 full days at Disney World Resort. I'd suggest 4 Park Days and 1 Rest/Resort Day to recharge and fully enjoy your resort.

Important Note: Disney rewards longer stays with lower daily ticket costs! (The value per day drastically improves after 5+ ticketed days.)

Now, onto the next step, which is a bit trickier. You have 4 different ticket types to choose from:

1.) 1 Park Per Day: This is the base ticket option. It allows entry to one Disney World Theme Park each ticketed day. Once you're in one park, you can't enter another on the same day.

2.) Park Hopper Option: With this, you can hop between the 4 Theme Parks (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios) as much as you'd like in a day. Flexibility at its finest!

3.) Water Park and Sports Option: An add-on to the 1 Park Per Day ticket, this option grants access to Disney’s Water Park, Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course, Miniature Golf Courses, or ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex once per day.

4.) Park Hopper Plus Option: This combines the Park Hopper and Water Parks and Sports options, allowing you to explore everything Disney World has to offer each day.

After covering everything Disney World Resort for the past 7 weeks, I am sure you are thinking that we have covered all of the hotel accommodations. Well, you are right that we have covered all of Disney’s officially owned accommodations, but Disney also offers a separate class of hotels known as Good Neighbor Hotels that can be booked as a vacation package.

First off, what does it take to be considered a Good Neighbor Hotel?

To be considered a Good Neighbor Hotel at Disney World, a hotel must meet quality standards, offer convenient location and transportation options to the parks, provide excellent guest services including a Disney Vacation Planning Desk, and often include amenities while remaining affordable. Several of these resorts even offer Magical Extras such as Early Morning Entry.

There are a total of 48 Good Neighbor hotels to choose from ranging in pricing, accommodations, amenities, and distance from Walt Disney World including many recognizable brands such as Waldorf, Four Seasons, Hilton, Wyndham, Marriott, Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn, Etc.

Good luck to Ms. B's other birthdays with topping 2024 because she will be celebrating her birthday this year with a getaway to Montego Bay, Jamaica! 🏝️ This was a very fun vacation to book as she came in with her guidelines and requests, but was very open to location. Little did she know that a Jamaican vacation fell within her guidelines. 🌺
