Hey y’all! Sorry I know I’ve been slacking on post this fall. Been busy! I’ve been in the woods relentlessly pursuing a big Maine whitetail. Seen a lot of deer this season and passed on a few smaller bucks. I hope everyone is having a good fun and safe season. I tell myself this every time I head into the woods. It is not about the harvest, but the pursuit and having the knowledge and ability to get a chance at a deer. They are so smart and tough. I’m on vacation thanksgiving week and will be giving my full attention and detail to the woods! God bless and shoot straight. Here’s some good game camera pics I’ve had so far! I will have some availability for Muzzleloader season if you or someone you know wants to go track a deer!

With the 2024 Maine Moose lottery coming up this Saturday, June 15. I’d like to share my favorite clip from my first ever client I had as a guide. I’ll remember this hunt for ever. After days of scouting this area, Sunday afternoon as I was showing my client the area and coming up with a game plan for the following morning we saw this beautiful bull standing in a cut with a cow. I told my client we would come in here nice and early and get setup and call him in. And just like clock work we came in, setup, started calling as the sun came up, 15 min later he started coming in from the back of the cut on a string and the rest is history. Had a chance to do some teaching last week with Sedomocha 1st grade classes on Maine Guide lifestyle,animal identification and the outdoors in general. The kids did great, had tons of questions and loved all the stuff I brought for them to see! They are the future of what we leave behind and teaching them is a great start to getting them outdoors. Looking forward to doing more of this! Even had a handsome little helper who’s quite knowledgeable himself in the outdoors.
