As the year closes out, we're thankful to everyone that has shared our cabin with us this year. Its been another bizarro year in the age of covid and being able to escape to a mountain hideaway has made it a little easier. Its time to start thinking about slipping up for a weekend in 2022, so take a look at the calendar and put your pin in it!

Chilly and rainy this last weekend. Deep creek was as full as I've ever seen it. It would have been a wild ride on a tube to be sure!! Who's heading to Bryson City area soon?

It was chilly but wonderful at Squirrel Run when we were up before Christmas. As you can see on the rail, it was perfect hot tub weather, haha.

Some of the local waterfalls are beautiful this time of year. See you in 2021!
