If you manage to leave the property, you are only minutes from all the area attractions including whitewater rafting at the Nantahala Outdoor Center, boating on Fontana Lake, mountain biking at Tsali, hiking on the Appalachian Trail, or sightseeing from the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. Adult fun and great food is a short drive to neighboring Cherokee, NC at Harrah's Cherokee Casino, and more activities than you can mention are within a hour (the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC is just a start). Watershed Resort makes a perfect basecamp to enjoy all the Smokey Mountains have to offer.
