Perched at 3900ft on 6.5 acres with incredible long range views, Honey Bear Retreat is located in the private gated community of Alarka Highlands-just 25 mins from downtown Bryson City. This newly constructed log cabin features 2500 sq ft of indoor living space and over 400 sq ft of covered outdoor deck space with incredible panoramic views. The main level open concept layout features ample space
for dining and lounging and has DirectTV, a DVD player, as well as a gas fireplace. DirectTV is also in the main bedroom, second bedroom, and the lower level entertaining area which has a seating area, game table, and electric fireplace.
The kitchen will make you feel like you're right at home with a stainless steel sink, garbage disposal, and granite counter tops. You’ll have everything you will need (pots, pans, utensils, plates, bowls, silverware, etc.) to cook up your favorite meal during your stay. The main floor bedroom features a king-sized log frame bed with a pillow top mattress, matching log chest, two log nightstands with lamps, and a large walk-in closet. The en suite bathroom has a large, glass/tile shower, dual vanities, and suitcase stands for your convenience. The 2nd bedroom is located in the walkout lower level and features a queen bed and TV. The 2nd bathroom is located on the main level and a 3rd bathroom is located on the lower level - both have tub/shower combos. The cabin has a 3rd bedroom on the lower level that will remain locked (no one else will be at the cabin during your stay). We can open this bedroom if needed for an additional nightly rate. Watch the sun rise or set from the private hot tub and enjoy the long range mountain views. The hot tub is easily accessed from the lower level, on which you’ll also find a laundry room with a washer and dryer located for your use. Near the parking area is a fire pit and a fire ring to enjoy the cool mountain nights and make some yummy smores.
