Good morning Everyone!
Just wanted to throw out a food for thought! Many people say that Cruises are far too expensive. But when you really think about it and break down the cost is it really?
Price per day is on average $100-$250 per day per person. Depending on the room type you prefer and how many people are in your cabin.
Keep in mind what is included on cruises.
1. Entertainment (Comedy clubs, Kids clubs, Mini golf, Nightly Broadway style shows, Water slides, Karaoke, Trivia, Night clubs and much more!)
2. Endless amounts of food! They have buffets going almost 24/7 on cruises plus they have things like sandwich shops, pizza spot, hamburger spot, Taco shop, plus every evening you can choose to dine in the dinning room which is like dinning in a restaurant were you pick appetizers, entrees and desserts (as many as you choose). Also they have things like Sea Day brunch where again you can go to the dinning room and eat like you are at a breakfast restaurant.
3. Drinks- Now of course alcohol is not included however most cruise lines do offer drink packages at an additional cost. What is included is typically fountain juices like passion fruit juice, apple juice, orange juice, water, lemonade and tea. You can however bring on a bottle of Wine or Champagne per adult 21+ or also choose to carry on a 12 pack of soda per person in the cabin.
4. Ports- Depending on the length of your cruise you can stop in 1-4 ports which will allow you the flexibility of knowing more than one location!
So again yes $100-$250 per person per day may sound pricey but just think about how much you would spend sleeping, eating, drinking, and travel to any land based vacation.
