Asking for some feedback ...
I need to update my keyboard.
My old Yamaha P-80 doesn't owe me anything, it's worked well for many years.
BUT...
It's older technology and the metal cabinet weighs a ton.
I'm almost 72 and have health issues, so I'm hoping for something that sounds/plays good but doesn't weigh a ton.
I'm finding more gigs that don't have a piano necessitating my bringing my own.
Like many piano players I prefer the feel and sound of a good acoustic (I'm also a professional piano tuner).
Realistically I need a decent keyboard I can take to gigs that don't have a piano.
By the same token I'd prefer not to break the bank for something I hope to only use sporadically.
Right now I'm looking at these three (on Sweetwater ... https://www.sweetwater.com/insync/best-88-key-digital-pianos/ )
Yamaha P-225B
Roland RD-88
Kawai ES920
Anyone familiar with the above?
Opinions, feedback, recommendations?
Thanks for your input.
